The chipper LS 160 DW Track is a compact machine designed to dispose of wood waste, branches, bark, branched wood and other ground biomass. Excess wood material can be conveniently removed from the object thanks to the chopping and quickly collected with the waste diverter, either directly in the box of the car or in one pile. The wood/branches fed into the chipper can be up to 160 mm in diameter . Its upper frame is equipped with a rotating base, so that the loading opening is accessible from any side. In addition, it is possible to tilt the upper part of the chipper separately up to 30° as needed. The chipper is also equipped with two hydraulically controlled loading rollers connected to the internal combustion engine's automatic overload protection system.
In addition, the standard equipment also includes an environmentally friendly water-cooled 25 hp Kohler diesel engine. Its remote-controlled undercarriage makes handling the machine very easy, on uneven ground, or steering it into a means of transport. Its tilting frame allows climbing up to 30° slopes.
The frame is already equipped as standard with an electric cable winch and an articulated ball (ISO 50) for the hitch.
